This is an exploration of humor and language which is connected to a larger body of etchings I have been making since 2011. With this print I tried to push the technical side of etching. When printing multiple colors you need to use three individual copper plates which is time consuming but ultimately worth the results.
This etching is a homage to my youth and the video game culture. This was the first print of a series that I have been revisiting since 2017.
These two etchings were based off of a comical relationship of office supplies. The first etching is entitled Just the Tip, and the latter is called Pencil Talk.
This series is based on a exploration of language through the use of muffins and the comical/double use of words.
These were an additional amount of etchings that explore pun in foods.
This Installation was an exploration of visual dominance within a space. I produced 500 porcelain diamonds, covered them in a red florescent paint, and displayed them under black lights. This created a visually stunning environment and overall a successful step in the project.
